Dr. Griggs is a breast oncologist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Griggs has authored nearly 50 articles and book chapters and is a reviewer for general medicine and subspecialty journals. Dr. Griggs serves on two study sections for the National Cancer Institute, is on the Professional Advisory Board for breastcancer.org, and has been honored with numerous teaching and community service awards. In 2004, she was the recipient of the University of Rochester Humanism in Medicine Award sponsored by the American Association of Medical Colleges.

Dr. Griggs' research program, which has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Department of Defense, and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, focuses on improving the quality of breast cancer care and on care of breast cancer survivors.
